A few statistics for MRL viewers

I’ve got a brilliant collection of statistics (and kind of sum up) from Cornell Paul Manatad and I would like to share it!

• Poland was the very first country in the world and first European country to win Marble Race League Gold Medal, followed by Spain on Season 2 and United Kingdom in Season 3 achieving the first span European country to win 3 Gold Medal in a row.
• Vietnam is the 4th country in the world and first Asian country to win Marble Race League Gold Medal, followed by India on Season 7, South Korea on Season 9 and Japan on Season 13.
• Argentina achieved its Gold Medal and the first South American country to win Marble Race League.
• Not long enough, United States achieving its first Gold Medal on Marble Race League on Season 6th.
• While awaiting for Season 10, Canada is the second North American continent country to win Marble Race League Gold Medal.
• After Italy won in Season 14, Philippines achieving its first Gold Medal in Marble Race League, making it fifth Asian country and 15th country to have Gold Medal.
• After the last 14 Seasons, Spain achieving its second Gold Medal, following the first country in the world to have 2 Gold Medal.
• Not long ago, United Kingdom achieve its second Gold Medal on Marble Race League from last 14 Seasons, making it second country in the world to have 2 Gold Medal, and the first 17th Season that country won tied which is Australia is the first Australian region to earned Gold Medal.
• France again achieve its second Gold Medal, after winning Season 8.
• From Season 16 to 19, European countries dominated the Gold Medal in 4 straight seasons in a row after Germany won in Season 18.
• Brazil again the first South American country achieve its second Gold Medal from 9 Seasons.
• Brazil and Philippines are gaining face-to-face to win Season 20, making it the Most Intense Season on any of the Marble Race League Season.
• Greece achieve its first Gold Medal in Marble Race League.
• After Greece winning Season 21, Russia achieve another 4th Silver Medal, making it the only country to achieve the Silver Medal from Season 2, Season 11 and Season 15.
• United States again winning the second Gold Medal, making it the fifth country to have 2 Gold Medal after winning Season 6 (from 18 seasons).

Marble Race League Season 24 details

Just a few days left to Season 24’s start! So I think time to talk a bit about the new Season.

✅ As most of you know Season 24 has 32 countries. (countries list at the end of this post)
30 countries from last Season’s Division 1 and the 2 promoted countries from Division 2 (Austria, Finland)

✅ If the 2 promoted countries (Austria, Finland) or one of them finish on the podium by the end of the Season that means the last 1-2 countries will eliminate to Division 2.
If not, Division 1 remains the same for next Season and Austria and/or Finland will return to Division 2.

✅ New point system, because we have more countries. Not a serious change.
Old system: 1st=35 points, 2nd=32 points, 3rd=29 points, 4th=27 points…
New system: 1st=35 points, 2nd=33 points, 3rd=31 points, 4th=29 points…

✅ Wall of Champions will return in a “new” form. It will be “last 10 champions”.
I didn’t use WoC in S23 because it has way too many flags and didn’t look good at all. But fans asked me many times to put it back. I hope most of you will accept the compromise. 🙂

✅ Classic (blue) background will return. With grey background marbles’ visibility is better. But classic background has much better atmosphere and not that gloomy. 🙂

Rules and Countries of MRL Season 23

Dear MRL viewers! As you know Season 23 coming very soon, so I would like to share some information about the new Season. I’m planning to do a bit different than Seasons before and I hope you will like the new format! 😄
So, S23 will have 2 divisions and 60 countries total.
– 30 countries in each division.
– Country selection is based on my channel’s watchtime as always. (you can read details about it on MRL FAQ page:https://marbleraceking.com/marble-race-league/mrl-faq/)
– Division 1 will have 10 races in the Season.
– Division 2 will have 5 races in the Season.
– First two countries in Division 2 will join to Division 1 in next Season. (S24)
– Season 24 will have 32 countries, but NO Division 2.

– Season 25 will have 2 divisions and 60 countries again.
– Division 1 will have 10 races in the Season.
– Division 2 will have 5 races in the Season.
– First two countries in Division 2 will join to Division 1 in next Season. (S26)

and so on…
If a promoted country finishes on the podium in Season 24 it will stay in Division 1 for Season 25 and the last country will be relegated to Division 2 next Season.

As a “first try” we will see how it works. How fans do like it? How can I cope with the extra workload? We have a few questions before it start. I hope it will work and we can keep this format for long time!

Encouraging comments

Dear Marble Race King viewers,

As most of you know marble race channels have serious issues with spoiler comments. I have the same problem on my channel as lot of people mentioned it to me. So I wrote pinned comments for a while but it is not a perfect solution.
I have a new idea!
If anyone writes a positive comment under my newly published videos I’ll pick one of them and pin it to the top of the comment section.
You have the best chance with writing an encouraging comment for newcomers why does worth to watch that specific video!
But they can be even jokes or stories but they have to be related to my channel.
VERY IMPORTANT: I can pin comments just in English!
Certain comments, like: “Warning! Spoiler Alert” will not be pinned! Ever! Period! 😅

A major change in Marble Race League

From Season 22 I will change the final calculation between podium finisher countries if they have the same points. (tiebreakers)
Let me start with some history!
From Season 1 to 22 if 2 countries had the same points on the 3rd place, both countries got the bronze medal.
If more than 2 countries got in this situation I made an extra “decider” race. (it happened once is MRL history)
I used the same method with champions as well in Season 17.
Well, the reception was not the best. It was quite controversial appearantly.
A lot of viewers made stronger statements than the situation would have demanded it… 😅
I tried to think about that as a good sign, I do create exciting contents with lot of emotions. 😅
Not to mention I had to ban a few users because some of them completely went off the rails, unfortunately. But, enough about stories.
Some viewers had good ideas how I can make it more “realistic”. (if we can talk about something like that in case of a virtual marble race)
They suggested to use tiebreakers like in real life motorsports.
So I decided to use them from this Season, but just for COUNTRIES ON THE PODIUM!



Countries are ranked according to points. If two or more countries – ON THE PODIUM – are tied on points , the following tiebreaking criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine the rankings and medals.

1. The country with more race wins is ranked higher
– If the number of wins are the same, it goes to the country with more second places.
– If the number of second places are the same, it goes to the country with more third places.

2. The country with less bonus points is ranked higher
It can be surprising for some of you but the explanation is simple: If a country has less bonus points it means that country has a better average finishing position in races so that country/marble is eventually faster.

3. Extra Race
